ASU men's basketball junior forward Savon Goodman will transfer from the program, as first reported by ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

Goodman began the season as a starter for the Sun Devils before a December suspension relegated him to the bench for a majority of conference play.

Coach Bobby Hurley issued a statement following the announcement:

"We wish Savon the best of luck in his future and appreciate his efforts over the past year. He earned the opportunity to explore his options by earning his degree and the timing of the mutual decision allows us to move forward in recruiting."

In 28 games this season, Goodman averaged 9.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
