Devil Dish: Winning baseball team the ASU sport to support

When you go to an ASU baseball game, you can count on one thing: This team is going to score runs.

The Sun Devils currently hold the NCAA record for consecutive games with a run scored at 455 - and counting.

The Sun Devils shattered the previous NCAA record of 349 games back on April 7, 2001.

And it's not like ASU has faced a bunch of chumps on the mound during the streak. Some of the hurlers who've failed to shut them out include current major leaguers Mark Prior, Jeff Weaver and 2002 American League Cy Young winner Barry Zito.

With a 21-1 record, this year's squad is off to one of its best starts ever. The Sun Devils have outscored their opponents 242-89 and have an unbelievable winning percentage (.955).

These are the Sun Devils to go out and support because you can count on them for one more thing: This team is going to score and win.
