Police Beat: Man sneaks sleeping pills in his pants


ASU police released no reports Tuesday.

Tempe police released the following reports Tuesday:

A 46-year-old Guadalupe man was arrested Monday on the charge of shoplifting at the 2700 block of West Baseline Road. The man allegedly concealed two packages of Tylenol P.M. and one package of NyQuil in his waistband.

A 53-year-old transient man was arrested Monday on the charge of consumption of alcohol in public at the corner of Apache Boulevard and McClintock Drive. The man allegedly was asleep and was found with an open 40 oz. bottle of beer next to him.

A 23-year-old Guadalupe man was arrested Monday on the charge of shoplifting at the 7800 block of South Priest Drive. The man allegedly took a pair of Nike shorts without paying.
