The Donnas will perform tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Sahuaro field for free.

Bad girl band The Donnas will rock out tonight at Sahuaro field as part of the College Television Network's "2003 Music Binge Tour."

The performance is co-sponsored by Associated Students of ASU campus affairs and the Residential Hall Association and will be free to students.

Pop-punk band Ok Go will open for The Donnas as part of the CTN tour, and local band Ticker Tape Parade was also invited to the event by ASASU.

Erica Dermer, ASASU campus affairs chief of staff, said ASASU was ecstatic when The Donnas agreed to play for free. In the past, the band has asked for $20,000 for college campus performances.

"It's free, which is really nice because a lot of the other schools [on the tour] are charging ticket prices," Dermer said.

The Donnas also are scheduled to visit Hoodlums in the basement of the Memorial Union at 3 p.m.

"We're really happy they are coming, even if they want it to be really low-key," said Kristian Luce, Hoodlums co-owner.

The concert is part of the activities fair that will take place on the Student Services Lawn from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ticker Tape Parade, Ok Go, and The Donnas start at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Sahuaro lawn located off McAllister Avenue.
