So I participated in The State Press fantasy football draft over the weekend. The thing is, I don't really follow football anymore, so I didn't have any idea what I was doing.
I drafted players whose names I'd heard in the news recently. Like Jake Plummer. He's still good, right? Didn't he get traded or something?
And Jerome Bettis. I remember they used to call that guy "The Bus." Does he still play in Philadelphia or whatever? I like that nickname. "The Bus."
Joe Jurevicius? He plays for Tampa Bay, right? Didn't they win the Super Bowl or something last year? If they won, he must be good. How would they have won otherwise?
So even though I don't know anything about football, I like my chances. Especially with the notorious Denver Broncos defense.
