It's sad to think that with only five episodes left of 'Friends,' the show is quickly coming to an end. Thursday's episode was one I never would have expected. Wacky Phoebe actually gets married.

Throughout the seasons she was always the one out of the six friends who attempted to have a serious relationship but never seemed to work it out. Maybe it was because she had an enormous zest for life and wanted to see what was out there.

First she dated that hunky police officer that randomly showed up at her door, but freaked her out after he asked her to live with him a few weeks into the relationship. Then along came the nerdy scientists who swept Phoebe off her feet. The two definitely had great chemistry. Unfortunately, his job was more important and he ended up moving to Minsk, Russia. His job didn't treat him so well, and when he returned, it was too late. Phoebe was in love with someone else, Mike, the man she married in Thursday's episode.

In this episode Phoebe was lucky enough to have obsessive-compulsive Monica not only as one of the brides maid but also as the wedding organizer. As we all know, Monica can be a bit controlling. So it wasn't surprising when everybody at the wedding rehearsal, including Phoebe, got majorly stressed out. Monica was temporarily fired from the wedding organizer's position.

On top of Monica getting fired, Ross and Chandler found out they were not in the wedding, much to their dismay. This was probably the only wedding Ross was not going to be-- he has only been divorced three times. So when the groom's best man got sick, Ross and Chandler jumped at the opportunity. The only problem was that there was only enough room for one best man. After a lot of sucking up, Chandler gave in to Ross. But don't worry, he had to hold the grooms smelly dog the entire wedding, that was the deal.

Monica then promised to not be a controlling wedding planner and got re-hired. Luckily, the wedding was a phenomenal one. Since Phoebe doesn't have a father, Joey agreed to marry her and Mike. Nobody could have been more perfect for the job.

The wedding was held outside in the snow in front of the Central Perk coffee house, where the friends have spent countless hours cracking jokes and listening to Phoebe play her guitar sing odes to obscure things.

I admit I shed a few tears when Phoebe said her vows. I always thought she and Joey would be the ones to marry each other because they were the weirdest ones out of the group, but I think Mike and Phoebe make a perfect couple.

Deep down I really want Rachel and Ross to be together. They do have a child together and the show has always been about Ross and Rachel. Will they end up together? Or will they remain best friends? It's the moment that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the season finale.
