Police Beat: Jack, Jäger, a kick in the nuts


Tempe police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

A 24-year-old Ganado woman was arrested on charges of indecent exposure and false reporting to law enforcement near the 800 block of South Rural Road. An officer observed her dancing in a cage without a shirt on and her breasts fully exposed at ACME Roadhouse. She gave the officer a fake name when questioned.

A 21-year-old Tempe woman was arrested on two charges of theft after she took $60 on one occasion and $700 on another, while entrusted with the deposits of Cold Stone Creamery and AZ Shorts. The two businesses are located near the 500 block of South Mill Avenue. She was arrested when she went to the police station to recover her purse, which she left at Cold Stone.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on a charge of theft after he stole his roommate's tripod and video camera near the 1200 block of South Priest Drive. It was found in some bushes near the residence, containing a video that the subject was making.

ASU police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

A 28-year-old Mesa woman was transported to Desert Samaritan Hospital after being found intoxicated. She allegedly drank about a half-liter of Jack Daniels and two to three ounces of Jagermeister. The woman started getting out of control and trying to fight people at a party and kicked a man in the testicles.

A license plate was impounded for destruction after the registration on the vehicle was found to be invalid due to a mandatory insurance suspension. The driver was cited for four civil traffic violations.
