Good beats. Unique flows. Great for getting your groove on. But that's about it. Twista's lyrics aren't challenging. They're simplistic and full of ego. Somewhere between his last CD and now he became full of himself and let's listeners know this in almost every track.

I like my music to have meaning. This CD is the same as almost any other mainstream rap CD out there today. He talks about the usual: sex, drugs and city pride. The only uncommon aspect of Twista's songs is the style in which he flows. He's got his own style, which is his trademark, the rapid-fire flow. However, I found a lot of his lines to be repetitive.

Twista's from Chicago's West Side and is named the world's fasted rapper by the Guinness Book of World Records. He's worked with many accredited rappers and rap groups such as Do Or Die, Three 6 Mafia, Ludacris and P. Diddy.

He started out underground and became known for his fast rhyming skills. He's credited as starting the rapid-fire flow which other emcees raised to the top of the charts for before Twista became known to the mainstream. He rhymed underground for a long while and is only now becoming well-known.

He definitely has skills. He rose from the bottom up which is rare in today's music industry.

Overall, the CD was good for dancing, and feeling pumped. The beats are really tight, they had great instrumentals too. However the lyrics could have been more, but I guess he just rhymes what he knows about. I like my songs to have more substance, but I would definitely pop his CD in on a Friday or Saturday night.
