Imagine taking a shot and then eating your shot glass as a chaser. A new element and marketing tool in the world of alcohol consumption has been introduced with Arctic IceShots and can let you do just that.
Essentially, IceShots are molds that can be filled with juice, mixers, alcohol, gelatin or virtually anything liquid you could possibly want to consume. Once frozen or "Jell-O-ed," these shot molds can be filled with any liquid substance-preferably one that makes Suzie from BIO102 want to kiss you-and then consumed.
IceShots can be used at home, at parties and may even be sighted in local bars and nightclubs. Granted, these shot molds are not as easy and convenient as a can of Bud Light at 3 o'clock in the morning, but they could prove to be much more entertaining and fun. This invention leaves plenty of room for creativity and opens the door to a variety of many crazy and foolish combinations of alcohol.
For instance, try the martini shot: a shot glass made of frozen lemonade and filled with gin. Or go for some tropical goodness with the Margarita shot: a frozen margarita mix glass later filled with tequila. For the coffee lovers, just freeze a shot of Joe and fill with Bailey's. The combinations are endless.
There are six, 12 and 20 shot freezer trays available to order online from www.iceshots.com. Every product offered includes a brochure with usage instructions, serving suggestions and recipes.
For those looking for an innovative promotional tool, there are rumors that Arctic will do custom printing of logos on IceShot molds for the right price. That's right, you could have your frat's logo printed on your very own edible shot glass. It's like a dream come true ... for some of you anyway.
Have fun finding your favorite concoction that makes it cool to get toasted. Happy freezing!
