Police Beat: Five finger condoms and Mad Dog spell undoing


Tempe police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

A 31-year-old transient man was arrested on a charge of shoplifting near the 5100 block of South McClintock Drive. He allegedly removed a bottle of Mad Dog Liquor, a three-count box of condoms and a 100-count bottle of ibuprofen from a Fry's Marketplace store without attempting to pay. The total of the merchandise was $19.57. He was witnessed and detained by store security.

A 20-year-old Tempe woman was arrested on a charge of shoplifting near the 500 block of South Mill Avenue. She allegedly removed merchandise from the Urban Outfitters store.
