Devil Dish: Devils look like pansies

For the second time in three weeks the ASU football team let down the school and its supporters. While the defense did play good enough to win the game, the offense and special teams weren't good enough to beat the sisters of the poor.

While the Sun Devils may not have had a real chance to upset the mighty USC Trojans, they did have a prime opportunity to knock off Cal, and show the college football world that they were deserving of their ranking.

With a potential New Year's Day trip to the Rose Bowl on the line, the Sun Devils looked like pansies.

After two completely lopsided losses to top 10 teams, the Sun Devils have everyone, including myself, questioning their ability.

Mistakes, especially the five turnovers on Saturday night were inexcusable.

But hey, at least now the Sun Devils should have a legitimate shot of winning a bowl game, considering they won't have a top 10 team in it with them.
