Police Beat: Always putting the blame on Steel Reserve

Tempe police reported the following incidents Thursday:

Police said the man had an open 12-ounce container of Steel Reserve on the dashboard of his car. The suspect was also charged with criminal damage after he repeatedly kicked the door frame of a police car.

A 21-year-old Gilbert man was arrested on a charge of DUI near the intersection of Sixth Street and Stadium Drive Friday. The suspect's car allegedly stalled in the intersection when police arrived.
