Tempe police reported the following incidents Monday:
A 24-year-old Mesa man was arrested at the 1000 block of East Eighth Street and charged with two counts of criminal damage early Sunday morning. Police alleged the man threw an empty beer keg at a Jeep Cherokee at the 900 block of East University Drive and that the keg also struck a second vehicle.
A 20-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested at the 1200 block of South McClintock Drive early Monday morning and charged with soliciting prostitution.
A 20-year-old Tempe man was arrested at the 100 block of West Fifth Street early Sunday morning on charges of minor possession of alcohol and having alcohol in his system. Police alleged, "He was found with a red plastic cup containing Bacardi and orange juice garnished with citrus slices and a 750-milliliter bottle of Bacardi that was [one-fifth] full."
A 19-year-old male ASU student was arrested early Sunday morning at the 1700 block of East Broadmor Drive and charged with trespassing. Police alleged the man climbed a fence into the backyard of a residence there and "was knocking on doors and windows and jiggling doors."
ASU police reported the following incident Monday:
Two laptop computers and an MP3 player were reported stolen from a room in Manzanita Hall on Thursday. The two residents left the room Thursday afternoon and shut but did not lock the door, one of residents reportedly told police. A friend reportedly stayed behind to use one of the computers and left the door cracked open before he left. When one resident returned about two hours later, he allegedly found the computers and MP3 player missing. The total estimated loss is $1,800 and the Department of Public Safety has no leads or suspect information.
