Profile Web sites, such as MySpace.com and Facebook.com, give people a whole new way to communicate and make friends. While these sites help popularize online profiles, XuQa.com is taking it one step further.
Unlike the other sites, XuQa lets you do more than just add friends. If you come across a person who you would like to get to know, you can send them a kiss, tickle or make them your secret crush.
Along with a profile, XuQa members are also given shelves. When you join, you're given peanuts to buy items to put on friends shelves. For example, if you want to show your softer side to your secret crushes, give them a toy rabbit or a red carnation.
XuQa connects more than 6,000 universities, community colleges and trade schools.
