Thank God for deep-fried anything on a stick.
Snickers bars, corndogs and even cheeseburgers smothered in golden batter will serve as a placebo for the 62,789 ASU football fans who watched Oregon upset the Sun Devils last weekend.
That's right, the Arizona State Fair is in town for the bye week and just like Keller and the boys, the treats look good on the shelf but will likely lead to a "not-so-fresh feeling" before you head for the exit turnstiles.
The Pac-10 does offer some intriguing matchups this week that should keep fans from getting too restless.
The Stanford-UA game promises to be a real barnburner.

Washington did limit UCLA, but it will have trouble containing Oregon's wide-open offense on the road.
Oregon should climb in the rankings after ripping off its third consecutive win.
The Washington State Cougars' last win came at Grambling State and they won't get another until they play their intrastate rivals in the season finale.
This week UCLA is the runaway pick.
California also came back down to earth against the Bruins. Quarterback Joe Ayoob buoyed them to a surprising early-season win streak and he hasn't lost his head yet.
He won't give the Beavers any breaks this weekend and the Bears will get back on the winning track.
The much-ballyhooed game of the week will be in South Bend, Ind., as the top-ranked USC Trojans look to romp over their bitter rival, No. 9 Notre Dame.
The last time the Fighting Irish entertained the champs, USC entered the game with a California loss on its record and a chip on its shoulder.
USC will humble the Irish at home again but the Trojans won't be looking at Notre Dame in the rearview mirror for long.
