Name: Caitlin Coleman

Major: English literature

Year: Junior

Hometown: Scottsdale

Favorite place to shop: Caitlin loves local boutiques Floozy, Hub and Swell, as well as bigger chains Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters. She also loves thrift store shopping at Buffalo Exchange and Goodwill.

"Sometimes you find really great stuff, like vintage Dior, cool handbags or lace camisoles for layering," she says.

Number of pairs of shoes in her closet: "I've bought three in the past two weeks," she says. Coleman says she owns morethan 25 pairs of heels, seven pairs of tennis shoes and 13 pairs of flip-flops.

Her favorite pair: Right now she's "really into" her purple Marc Jacob shoes with a kitten heel and two black buttons. She also loves her copper Charles David mary janes with a kitten heel.

Fashion tip for the spring: Coleman says that while metallics were huge in the fall, but they should be incorporated into your spring wardrobe in a more subtle manner. "Your metallics should compliment your glow, instead of the other way around," she says.

Style philosophy: "I love to shop for bargains because I would rather buy 10 things than one, but I do have a great appreciation for the worth of designer apparel," she says.

"Being a college student, I can't buy everything at designer price. It's cool to wear your cheap vintage finds with a jacket you blew your wad on that you've had for four years," she says.
