There is nothing shy about Mechad Brooks and Al Shearer.
I don't know if it's because of the fame Mechad is getting from being on the television show Desperate Housewives or if it's because the two gentlemen are competing in a "who's louder" contest against Al's diamond-loaded watch. When the two are on a comfortable coach they don't need anyone to get the conversation going.

Al Shearer (AS): So you're from ASU, huh? How are the women over there?
The Web Devil (WD):: Pretty good. We have the Tempe 12 and some of our ladies were featured in Playboy.
Mechad Brooks (MB): Keep it clean, this is a Disney movie.
WD: Al, how did u break your foot in basketball boot camp?
AS: We were running all of the time. We ran, ran, and ran even during water breaks. When practicing shooting, I go up the middle and to the glass, I came down and broke my foot and tore my tendon. I was out for 4 weeks.
WD: Mechad, were you the best on the team?
MB: No. I was in the top 3, 4, or 5.
WD: Charles Barkley was a big influence for you guys?
MB: He's one of the reasons why I picked up a basketball. For me it was Jordan, Magic, and Barkley.
AS: He had a never say die attitude on the floor. He's really versatile and I really appreciate his game. He's honest and he'll tell you if you did a crappy job or made a good movie.
WD: How is it being around all of those gorgeous Desperate Housewives?
MB: They are really gorgeous right, but they're really gorgeous on the inside. They're all a team, and surprisingly smart and funny.
