The ASU women's golf team dropped from first to second place after day two of the three-day Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge at the Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes, Calif. Tuesday.
The Sun Devils shot a 15-over 299 as a team on the par-71 course, six strokes worse than their performance of 293 on Monday. USC now holds a one-stroke lead with a two-day total of 592.
ASU freshman Jennifer Osborn shot 2-over 73 Tuesday after leading Monday. She is now in a three-way tie for second place with a two-day total of 143. Freshman Azahara Munoz shot a 74 Tuesday, one stroke worse than her performance a day earlier, and is in a tie for seventh place with 147 total strokes.
Senior Alissa Kuczka repeated her 75 score from the day before Tuesday, good enough for a three-way tie in 12th place, and junior Tiffany Tavee shot a 77, bringing her total to 152 and a 10-way tie for 16th place.
