ASU police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
Fifty bottles of Naked juice, 20 bottles of Frappuccino drinks and six boxes of candy were reported stolen from the Oasis Cafe Monday morning. An employee reportedly told police he had locked the cafe's southwest service window when he left Friday afternoon. He returned Monday morning to find the window unlocked and the merchandise missing, police said. The stolen goods were valued at $478.
An 18-year-old Chandler man was arrested Monday morning at Rio Salado Parkway and Packard Drive and charged with underage DUI. The suspect was pulled over for driving recklessly, police said. Police reportedly smelled an intoxicating beverage and asked the suspect how much he had had to drink. "Not much ... nothing," the suspect reportedly said.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
A 39-year-old man was arrested Tuesday afternoon at Food City, 725 W. Baseline Road, and charged with shoplifting. The suspect allegedly stole four packages of meat. The stolen goods were valued at $34.
A 20-year-old Tempe man was arrested Tuesday night on the 100 block of South Hardy Drive and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, misconduct with a weapon and endangerment. The suspect was reportedly found in the living room of an apartment with marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a handgun in his possession. A 2-year-old who had been left in the suspect's care was also in the room, police said.
A 21-year-old Tempe man was arrested Wednesday morning on the 900 block of East University Drive and charged with obstructing a roadway and disorderly conduct. The suspect allegedly threw six street barricades into the intersection of University Drive and Veterans Way.
A 40-year-old Tempe woman was arrested Tuesday night on the 1300 block of West Broadway Road and charged with criminal damage. The suspect allegedly broke the window of her ex-boyfriend's apartment. She punched the glass during a verbal argument with her ex-husband's daughter, police said.
