The ASU football team's loss to Oregon State on Saturday was the second of three Sun Devil games this season not shown on television. How utterly ridiculous.

How is it that not one, not two, but three games - 25 percent of the entire schedule - will not be broadcast on TV? This isn't like the NHL or NBA, where there are 82 games and no one notices if a few aren't on TV. Heck, it's not even the NFL, which has 16 games.

There are just a measly 12 times per season that college football fans get to view their favorite teams. And not showing as many games as possible can have a dangerous snowball effect. Just ask the Arizona Cardinals.

When fans can't watch their team, they lose interest, regardless of if that team is winning or losing.
