Police Beat

Tempe police reported the following incidents Monday:

A 19-year-old woman was arrested Saturday morning on the 2300 block of East Apache Boulevard and charged as a minor in possession of alcohol.

The suspect allegedly was pounding on an apartment door and attempting to get in.

She had bloodshot, watery eyes, smelled of an intoxicating beverage, had thick slurred speech and had urinated on herself, police reported.

"She had no idea where she was, how she had gotten there, where she lived or any people to assist her," police reported.

The suspect reportedly admitted she was drunk and was transferred to Tempe City Jail.

A 27-year-old Scottsdale man was arrested Saturday night at Zuma Grill, 605 S. Mill Ave., and charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree trespassing and assault.

The suspect allegedly was not allowed into Zuma because he was already impaired.

He yelled and screamed obscenities at the bouncers, who were unable to keep him out and told him at least six times to leave, police reported.

The suspect reportedly put his hands on the bouncers in a threatening manner.

He was transported and booked to Tempe City Jail.
