Tech check: Launch into computer relief

Although it's no replacement for therapy, the USB Missile Launcher by Brando Workshop may be the cure for all your computer-related tension. When you've been typing for so long that the keyboard has actually become an extension of your body, this toy will plug right into your computer's USB port and temporarily relieve you of your suffering.

The small, plastic missile launcher comes with three foam missiles that can be shot up to 20 feet. The launcher is moved left and right and activated through a computer program that is Windows XP compatible. It even allows you to download your own sound effects to enhance your curative experience.

The missile launcher comes equipped with three feet of USB cable, so foam warfare is always at your fingertips. Plus, no tricky batteries are required - all the power comes from your computer.

At $35, the USB Missile Launcher is far less expensive than hours of therapy for a computer-induced mental breakdown. Check out a video of the missile launcher in action at the company's Web site, usb.brando.com.hk.

So if what's currently plugged into your USB port is too burdensome - be it a flash drive with your 15-page English paper or an iPod with 15,000 songs that need to be reorganized - the USB Missile launcher might be the relief you need.
