Devil Dish

The 2007 baseball season is officially underway, and the Diamondbacks are already off to a great start, going 5-2 on their first road trip of the year.

But I just can't get too excited about this team yet.

Am I interested to see how the team does without Luis Gonzalez?

Yes.

Am I interested to see how The Big Unit does back in Arizona?

Yes.

Am I interested to see how all their young players develop and handle the Big Leagues?

Yes.

It's just that with a 162-game schedule, it's hard to get into April baseball.

In fact, I don't really care about April baseball at all.

In the grand scheme of things, our 3-1 win over the Nationals on Easter Sunday doesn't really mean much of anything in the long run.

Talk to me when we all come back to school in August. Only then I will be ready to give you my take on the 2007 D-backs.
