Tempe police reported the following incidents Wednesday:

  • A 43-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested Tuesday night on charges of obtaining narcotic drugs by fraud, possession of prescription-only drugs, and possession of narcotic drugs, according to a police report.

    An investigation revealed she presented two forged prescriptions to Allen's Pharmacy, 6995 S. Mill Ave., police reported.

    A search revealed she was in possession of prescription-only Demerol tablets without a prescription, police reported.

    She was transported to Tempe City Jail where she was booked and held to see a judge, police reported.

  • A 22-year-old Tempe woman was arrested Tuesday evening at the Wells Fargo Bank at 3255 S. Rural Road on charges of forgery and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police reported.

    She reportedly was in possession of three forged traveler's checks, valued at a total of $1,500.

    She attempted to pass the checks at the bank but was denied, police reported.

    A search revealed a small usable quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in her purse, police reported.

    She was transported to Tempe City Jail where she was booked and held to see a judge, according to the police report.

  • A 41-year-old transient man was arrested Tuesday evening in a vehicle in a parking lot on the 800 block of West 14th Street on charges of possession of narcotic drugs, according to the police report.

    A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a small white container with narcotic drugs inside, police reported.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail where he was booked, according to the police report.

  • An 18-year-old transient man was arrested Wednesday morning on charges of first degree trespass and possession of marijuana after he was found in an apartment on the 200 block of West Hermosa Drive, according to the police report.

    The apartment was supposed to have been vacated on Nov. 19 and the man had forced entry through the front door, police reported.

    A search found he was in possession of a usable quantity of marijuana in a clear plastic "baggie" in his front left pant pocket, police reported.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail for booking, according to the police report.

  • A 25-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Tuesday night at Curry Road and Lakeview Drive after investigation revealed he had an outstanding Maricopa County Superior Court warrant for two counts of failure to register as a sex offender, police reported.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail for booking, according to the police report.

  • A 19-year-old Mesa man was arrested Friday night on the 20 block of West University Drive on charges of possession of marijuana, minor in consumption, minor in possession, and public consumption, according to the police report.

    He was arrested after he was observed consuming beer from an open container, police reported.

    He submitted to a portable breath test, which yielded a blood-alcohol content of 0.095, police reported.

    An investigation revealed he had a marijuana cigarette behind his ear with a usable quantity of marijuana, police reported.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail where he was booked and held to see a judge, police reported.
