The Major League Baseball hot stove may turn up in flames this week with the winter meetings already in progress.

Will Minnesota's Johan Santana and Florida's Miguel Cabrera be traded?

Fortunately for you, I have the answers – weeks before they become a reality.

Johan Santana: The AL's top starting pitcher will switch teams, but he's not going to New York or Boston. The new, bold general manager of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of California of the United States of America will continue to add big names, weeks after signing Torri Hunter. But the cost for Santana will be steep: shortstop Brandon Wood and pitchers Scot Shields and Nick Adenhart.

Miguel Cabrera: The ballooning Cabrera is close to making big money and potential trade partners will soon be fed up with the Marlin's brass. Cabrera stays put.

Dan Haren: Yes, the A's will trade their ace, despite a currently favorable contract.

Unable to land Santana, the Red Sox still have to react to the Yankees' additions. And the only reason Billy will bite the bullet is because he'll receive a truckload of talent, including center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury and pitchers Manny Declarmen and Kevin Mulvey.
