Devil Dish

As I've mentioned before, there's no professional football team that I consider "my team," due to the sorry franchise that is the Arizona Cardinals.

So when I tune into watch the NFL playoffs, I'm just looking for exciting games and interesting storylines.

And I've gotten precisely that.

It started with how the Washington Redskins charged through the end of the regular season and into the playoffs, largely due to Sean Taylor's looking down from above.

How can you not jump on that team's bandwagon?

Then there's the San Diego Chargers, who went into Indianapolis and knocked off the defending champs.

And they did it with backup quarterback Billy Volek calling the plays and without star running back LaDainian Tomlinson in the backfield for much of the second half.

Are you kidding me?

And then there's T.O. crying after his Cowboys blew it at home against the Giants. It looks like someone else on that roster needs a Mexican vacation, or a celebrity girlfriend.

But the biggest storylines to me have been the resurgence of Brett Favre and the complete domination by Tom Brady. The first guy could be considered the best ever, and the latter probably will be the best ever when he hangs up the cleats.

I want to see those two go head-to-head in Glendale in two weeks.
