Oh, the many facets of Jason Kidd.
The guy, who can arguably be called the greatest point guard of our time, has dug himself into a deep hole that is New Jersey.
A nine-time all-star, Kidd asked Monday to be traded from the Nets, who find themselves in the cellar of the NBA's Eastern Conference.
Trying to get out of this mess may be impossible, even for Mr. Triple-Double himself, who carries around a hefty price tag to his name.
Kidd, who will make $19.7 million this year and $21.3 million next year, is in no means getting traded. Nobody can afford him.
Not to mention the 35-year-old Kidd is only getting older by the day.
So much for the player who can make amazing no-look passes and throw down stats that would make any fantasy owner want to drool over his or her keyboard.
But who knows, maybe Kidd can stay and turn the Nets franchise around 360 degrees. Oh wait, that's not good.
