Terrell Owens crying?
Now I can honestly say I have seen everything.
In a post-game interview following the Dallas Cowboys' playoff match up with the New York Giants on Sunday, Owens was questioned about Tony Romo's excursion to Mexico with singer Jessica Simpson during the team's bye week, and whether it affected the level of the quarterback's play during the Cowboys' loss to the Giants.
In a dramatic sequence that resembled an epic soap opera, Owens actually shed tears as he defended the honor of his star quarterback, saying that the criticism of Romo was "unfair."
Is this is the same Owens who left the quarterbacks his previous two teams hanging out to dry in front of the media?
I, for one, am not buying the act and still see Owens as the egotistical badmouth whose reputation has preceded him throughout his 12 years in the NFL.
This is just another chapter in T.O.'s book of how to steal the spotlight from everybody else.
