The ASU men's golf team embarks upon the postseason Monday at the Pac-10 Championships in Fairfax, Calif.
The Sun Devils will tee off with Washington State in the first two rounds of play at the par-71, 6,686-yard Meadow Club Golf Course.
Each team will play 36 holes on Monday, followed by single rounds on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The consistently inconsistent ASU team, which has generally played on the side of youth this season, will field a group of four freshmen, a sophomore and a senior onto this week's scorecard.
ASU coach Randy Lein has relied on his young players for leadership many times in past seasons, but this year is one of his youngest squads to date.
Lein has led the Sun Devils to seven Pac-10 titles during his 16-year tenure at ASU.
The Sun Devils came in third at the Pac-10 Championships last year but only return one player from that team.
Freshman Jesper Kennegard has led the Sun Devils this season with four top five finishes.
Kennegard shot an even-par last tournament and jumped five places from tenth to fifth on the final day.
