The West is still a mess.
With the last day of the NBA regular season upon us, it is still remarkable to see that no playoff match-ups have been set this side of the Mississippi.
We can essentially see four Western Conference teams finish the regular season with 55 wins, and the most astonishing part — one of those teams will be a No. 6 seed.
The Eastern Conference playoff scenario is pretty much set, but I still don't care. None of those series seem intriguing to me and I will probably refrain from watching anything outside of the West until Boston and Detroit face off in the conference finals.
As an Arizona native, I'll be pulling for my Phoenix Suns the whole way. But in all honesty, the teams out West are so similar in strength that it wouldn't surprise me to see a plethora of first-round upsets.
