Tempe police reported the following incidents Friday:
- A 20-year-old Tempe man was arrested Friday night at the Marquee Theatre on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs for sale and third degree escape.
He was observed at the theater at 730 N. Mill Avenue drinking a beer without a 21-year-old wristband, according to a police report.
Security tried contact him, but he evaded them until he was finally captured and escorted out of the building, police reported.
The man began to fight with security in an attempt to get away and was reportedly arrested by police and put into handcuffs, according to the report.
He then fled from the officers and after a 100-yard foot pursuit was captured again and searched, police reported.
Eleven pills, believed to be Ecstasy, were reportedly found in his left front pants pocket, along with $386, police reported.
- 36-year-old Mesa man was arrested Friday morning the 1200 block of East University Drive on suspicion of aggravated DUI.
He was driving on the roadway with two flat tires, according to police reports.
The man had watery eyes, an odor of alcohol and slurred speech, police reported.
Upon a driver's license check, the man had a suspended license for a DUI in Mesa in 2006 and his license was never reinstated, according to the report.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Thursday:
- A 27-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Thursday morning on the 100 block of East Fifth Street on suspicion of second degree burglary and trafficking stolen property.
On April 12, he broke a rear kitchen window and entered a residence on the 400 block of East Susan Lane and stole numerous items including jewelry, according to police reports.
The man's fingerprints were found at the scene, police reported.
He was arrested at the Tempe City Jail, according to the report.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
- A 46-year-old Tempe man was arrested Thursday morning on the 600 block of South River Drive on suspicion of assault, false reporting to police and possession of marijuana.
Police reported the man slapped his live-in girlfriend while outside on the street, and when confronted by police allegedly provided a false name and date of birth.
Upon a search, the had a usable amount of marijuana in his right rear pants pocket, police reported.
Tempe police reported the following incidents last Friday:
- A 21-year-old Tempe man was arrested Friday afternoon on the 100 block of West University Drive on charges of resisting arrest.
He was observed placing a bottle of beer to his lips while at a bus stop, according to a police report.
He then dropped the bottle a 40 oz. bottle of "Mickey's" upon contact with police, according to the report.
He was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant for resisting arrest on January 2008, police reported.
Tempe police reported the following incidents last Saturday:
- A 33-year-old Tempe man was arrested Saturday morning on the 2600 block of North Champlain Avenue on charges of disorderly conduct involving weapons.
He shot a .22-caliber handgun into his bedroom ceiling during a verbal argument with his girlfriend, according to police reports.
A search found the handgun located in the coat closet, police reported.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Saturday:
- A 21-year-old Tempe man was arrested Saturday morning on the 1000 block of East University Drive on suspicion of possession of marijuana and misconduct involving weapons.
Police found a usable quantity of marijuana and a stolen AK47 assault rifle during a narcotics search, according to police reports.
