Tempe police reported the following incident Tuesday:
- A 23-year-old Tempe man was positively identified Tuesday morning by a witness at the Tempe Police Department as the suspect in two armed robberies and one kidnapping, police reported.
The man was already in custody for two other armed robberies and a kidnapping, according to the police report.
He was held in custody in connection with the incidents.
- A 19-year-old Tempe man was arrested Tuesday morning near the 1200 block of Southern Avenue on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police reported.
The man admitted to possessing the marijuana, according to the police report.
In his pocket, police found a bouncy ball, along with miscellaneous other items, police reported.
Tempe police reported the following incident Wednesday:
- A 36-year-old Phoenix man was arrested early Wednesday morning on the 900 block of Broadway Road on suspicion of possessing dangerous drugs and paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license, police reported.
During a vehicle stop, the man reportedly gave police a false name, and police found during a records check that the man was driving on a suspended license, according to the police report.
Police also found that the man was in possession of methamphetamine, police reported.
The man admitted after hearing his Miranda rights that he had taken a passenger to go buy the drug, according to the police report.
The man was booked in connection with the crimes and also on suspicion of false reporting to law enforcement and failure to provide proof of identification.
ASU police reported the following incident Wednesday:
- A 21-year-old female ASU student reported her duffel bag stolen at the first floor of the Student Recreation Complex, police reported.
The bag was reportedly stolen between 7 p.m. and 7:35 p.m., according to the police report.
The estimated loss was $50, police reported.
- A 19-year-old male ASU student reported on Wednesday his bike stolen near the Hassayampa Academic Village, police reported.
The estimated loss was about $300, according to the police report.
- A male and female were arrested early Wednesday morning near the 700 block of Apache Boulevard on suspicion of underage alcohol possession, police reported.
