ASU police reported the following incident Wednesday:

  • An 18-year-old male ASU student was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia, according to the police report.

    Police said they apprehended the student at the Stadium Parking Structure, 401 E. Veterans Way on the Tempe campus.

    The man was released from the ASU police station pending review of charges by the Juvenile County Attorney’s office, police reported.

ASU police reported the following incident Tuesday:

  • Between the hours of 5 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday an unknown person or people committed criminal damage at the University Services Building, police reported.

    Damage included a fractured window on the side of the building, according to the police report.

    The building is located at 1551 S. Rural Road on the Tempe campus, and the estimated damage is $500, police reported.

    There are no leads or suspects at this time, police reported..

ASU police reported the following incident Sunday:

  • A green leafy substance believed to be marijuana was impounded for destruction Sunday by police at Manzanita Hall on the Tempe campus, police reported.

    The officer reported that he seized a clear plastic bag believed to be filled with marijuana based on his training and experience, according to the police report.

    The occupants of the residence were not charged, police reported.

Tempe police reported the following incidents Wednesday:

  • A 33-year-old Tempe man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence, according to the police report.

    The man was apprehended at College Avenue and Dunbar Drive after investigation revealed that he pulled a knife on his wife, according to the police report.

    The man threatened his wife several times while displaying the knife, police reported.

    The suspect was booked into the Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, according to the police report.

  • A 26-year-old Mesa man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of aggravated DUI and possession of marijuana, police reported.

    The man was found asleep behind the wheel of a running vehicle in drive and was stopped on Rio Salado Parkway and Mill Avenue, according to the police report.

    Police woke the man up and saw signs of impairment, police reported.

    A breath test revealed that his blood-alcohol content was 0.00 percent, according to the police report.

    Inventory of the vehicle found a blue bag in the trunk that contained four syringes a usable quantity of a green, leafy substance believed to be marijuana, according to the police report.

    The suspect confirmed all bags in the vehicle belonged to him, according to the report.

    The man was released “pending a complaint” but held to see a judge, police reported.
