Tempe police reported the following incident Friday:
- A 45-year-old Phoenix man was arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia Friday, police reported.
The man exited a bathroom stall in a QuikTrip convenience store at 3875 S. Priest Drive after an officer saw white smoke in the bathroom, according to the police report.
When the man exited the stall he admitted to smoking crystal methamphetamine, police reported.
Upon a search, the officer found a small plastic bag filled with a crystal-like substance presumed to be crystal methamphetamine, according to the police report.
The man also had a glass pipe in his pocket, police reported.
The man repeatedly told the officer how “stupid he was to be smoking meth,” according to the police report.
He was booked at Tempe City Jail with drug charges pending, police reported.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Thursday:
- A 44-year-old Apache Junction man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at El Pollo Loco, 5009 S. Arizona Mills Circle, police reported.
Police investigation revealed that the man hit a victim with a golf club in the left upper thigh causing “a four to six-inch bright red welt”
at the restaurant, according to the police report.
The man was booked at Tempe City Jail, police reported.
- A 29-year-old man and 27-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs and forgery at 504 W. Broadway Road, police reported.
An officer stopped a man driving a vehicle and seized a usable quantity of drugs and paraphernalia upon search of the vehicle, according to the police report.
Search also revealed a forged Social Security card that the driver said he had made for $60 and used to obtain employment, police reported.
The 27-year-old passenger was charged with one count of possession of dangerous drugs and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the police report.
The driver was booked on suspicion of the same charges and one count of forgery, police reported.
Both were booked at Tempe City Jail, according to the police report.
Tempe police reported the following incident Wednesday:
- A 19-year-old Tuba City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana at the Marquee Theatre, 730 N. Mill Ave., police reported.
The man was observed by Marquee Theatre security handing an alcoholic beverage to an underage female inside the theater, according to the police report.
When security asked the man to empty his pockets and produce identification, he removed a small glass container that held a usable quantity of marijuana, police reported.
The man was booked at Tempe City Jail, and his release is pending, according to the police report.
