ASU police reported the following incidents Wednesday:

  • Between the hours of 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday an unknown person or group removed a golf cart from the north side of the Student Recreation Complex on the Tempe campus, police reported.

    The estimated loss is approximately $1,000, according to the police report.

    The student worker who had driven the cart to the SRC was inside the building in possession of the keys when it was stolen, according to the report.

    There are no witnesses, suspects or leads at this time, police reported.

  • Between the hours of 7 p.m. Saturday and 7:50 a.m. Sunday an unknown person or people committed criminal damage on the West campus, police reported.

    A 12-inch light fixture was broken in the University Center Building, according to the report.

    There are no leads, witnesses or suspects at this time, police reported.

Tempe police reported the following incidents Wednesday:

  • A 20-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested Tuesday in connection with an outstanding warrant after being stopped at a traffic stop, police reported.

    The woman was apprehended on the 2300 block of West Baseline Road, placed in handcuffs and transported to Tempe City Jail, according to the police report.

    When the woman was searched upon arrival at the jail, an officer found a usable quantity of marijuana in a plastic bag inside her bra, police reported.

    She was then charged with suspicion of being in possession of marijuana and taking prohibited items into jail, according to the police report.

    She was booked and released pending all charges, police reported.

  • A 20-year-old Tempe man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of third-degree burglary and first-degree criminal trespassing, police reported.

    The suspect was apprehended on the 6200 block of South McClintock Drive after an investigation reportedly revealed he entered the open garage of a residence on the 6400 block of South Butte Avenue without permission of the homeowner.

    Further investigation showed he unlawfully entered the fence into the backyard of a home on the 1600 block of East Vaughn Street and removed several unidentified items of property from the yard, police reported.

    The man was booked at the Tempe City Jail, according to the report.

  • A 39-year-old transient woman was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and an outstanding felony warrant for possessing dangerous drugs, police reported.

    The woman was observed biting her boyfriend on the forehead after an argument that stemmed out of jealousy, police reported. A records check revealed there was a warrant in her name and she was transported and booked into the Tempe City Jail, according to the report.

    The boyfriend had a lump the size of a dime on his forehead as a result of the bite, police reported.
