Vomit falling from University bridge allegedly causes rear-end collision

ASU police are investigating an incident where eight to ten fraternity members allegedly caused a car collision, University spokeswoman Julie Newberg said in a statement.

The students are suspected of drinking milk on a Tempe campus bridge and vomiting it onto moving traffic on University Drive on Monday evening.

A vehicle stopped suddenly after the driver saw something falling off the bridge and was rear-ended by another car, Tempe police spokesman Sgt. Steve Carbajal said.

The rear car was driven by a woman with her young daughter inside, he said.

ASU is investigating the allegations, but University police did not return multiple calls seeking comment Wednesday afternoon.
