Most people in American culture consider 13 to be an unlucky number.

Orenthal James Simpson is going to have plenty of time to think about how that number has changed his life.

A Las Vegas jury deliberated for 13 hours after a 13–day trial. O.J. was found guilty of felony kidnapping, armed robbery, and conspiracy that occurred on Sept. 13 2007.

The guilty verdict came on the 13th anniversary of Simpson’s acquittal for the double-murder accusations of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

Friday, O.J. was convicted on all 12 of the charges he faced, stemming from an incident where he tried to recoup some sports memorabilia from his glory days.

The only problem with that: You can’t hold people at gunpoint.

Personally, I would try to stay away from criminal activity after I was on trial in one of the most famous cases in recent history.

Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 5 and Simpson is facing a potential life sentence.

Can you say karma?
