There was a plastic baggie with green leafy contents on the floor next to the planter that later tested positive for marijuana, police reported.

During a search of the suspect, another plastic baggie identical to the previous one was found in the suspect’s right pocket, police reported.

After the suspect was booked at Tempe City Jail, police found more marijuana in his possessions folded up in old court papers, police reported.

The suspects had borrowed the victim’s car but failed to return it as agreed, police reported.
