ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • Between 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and 1:30 p.m. on Friday, an unknown person or persons stole the vehicle of a 19-year-old male ASU student, police reported.

    The 2005 Acura RSX was parked in the parking structure at Vista Del Sol on the Tempe campus, police reported.

    There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, according to a police report.

  • Between 8:10 and 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, an unknown person or persons stole the wallet and cell phone of a 19-year-old male ASU student, police reported.

    The wallet and phone were stolen from the pool area at Vista Del Sol on the Tempe campus, according to a police report.

    The total estimated loss is $435, police reported.

    There are no leads, suspects or witnesses at this time, according to the report.

  • Around 1:50 a.m. Sunday an unknown male stole two bicycles from the sitting area near Palo Verde West on the Tempe campus, police reported.

    There are no leads or suspects at this time, and the victims are unknown, according to the police report.

Tempe police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • At 12:52 a.m. on Friday a 21-year-old Tempe man was arrested at his home on the 200 block of West Hermosa Drive on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police reported.

    After an investigation, it was apparent that the man was in possession of a usable amount of marijuana and a used glass marijuana pipe, according to a police report.

    The man was booked into Tempe City Jail and released pending charges, police reported.

  • At 11:14 p.m. on Saturday, a 24-year-old Chandler man was arrested at West Elliot Road and South Priest Drive on suspicion of being in possession of narcotic drugs and paraphernalia, police reported.

    The man was contacted in reference to suspicious activity, and a consent search revealed a usable amount of a black tar-like substance believed to be heroin, according to a police report.

    Police reported the man was also found in possession of a plastic straw and aluminum foil used to consume heroin.

    The man also had a misdemeanor warrant out of Chandler City Court in connection with shoplifting and providing false information to

    police, according to the report.

    He was booked into Tempe City Jail and released pending charges, police reported.
