By now, most of you have seen the commercial. You know, the one in which All-Universe basketball star LeBron James dreams he is playing wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns.

I sure do wish that dream was a reality.

There is not a shred of doubt in my mind that King James would absolutely dominate the NFL.

Have you seen his high school football videos on YouTube? Sick. The dude blows by defenders at a jogging pace. It’s really not even fair.

So here’s my proposal, LeBron: After you take down Kobe and the Lake Show and win the newly-named Bill Russell Finals MVP award, take a couple of months off. Then, in September, lace up the cleats and start torturing defensive backs.

When the NBA season starts back up, you can play hoops during the week — I think Mo Williams and company can hold down the fort in Sunday games until January.

I mean, come on. Why should one of the greatest athletes of our generation play only one sport when there is an entire athletic world to be ruled?

All hail the King.
