Tempe police reported the following incidents Sunday:
- A 25-year-old Tempe man was arrested on April 11 on suspicion of disorderly conduct, possessing marijuana and possessing dangerous drugs, police reported.
The man was arrested at an apartment complex on the 900 block of West La Jolla Drive in Tempe after police observed him banging loudly on an apartment door, according to a police report.
The residents reportedly told police the man woke them up. The man told police he knew the residents, but the residents said the man was a stranger, police reported.
A search of the suspect revealed a usable quantity of marijuana in a small wooden box in his pants’ pocket and a glass pipe used to smoke marijuana, according to the report.
The man was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and released pending charges, police reported.
- A 28-year-old Tempe man was arrested on April 11 on suspicion of marijuana possession, domestic-violence assault and committing criminal damage, police reported.
The man was arrested on the 1300 block of East University Drive after investigation revealed he assaulted his girlfriend, the mother of his child, by pushing her into a fence outside of their shared home, according to a police report.
The fence was broken as a result of the incident, police reported.
The man was found to be in possession of marijuana at the time of the arrest, according to the report.
He was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and held to see a judge, police reported.
- A 22-year-old Phoenix man was arrested on April 12 on suspicion of possessing narcotic drugs, police reported.
The man was stopped near South Priest Drive and West Rio Salado Parkway because he failed to dim his high-beam headlights, according to a police report.
The officer found a usable amount of cocaine in the center console of the vehicle, police reported.
The man did not claim possession of the drug or admit to using it, according to the report.
He was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and held to see a judge, police reported.
