Tempe Police reported the following incidents

Sunday:

A 28-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested Thursday around 11:30 p.m. on suspicion of identity theft, forgery and acquisition of a narcotic drug, police reported.

Investigation of the woman revealed she had used a fraudulent prescription and false identification while trying to purchase narcotic drug Oxycodone at a Walgreens on Mill Avenue, the police report said.

She was arrested on site and was then transported and booked into Tempe City Jail.

A Tempe woman was arrested just before 2 a.m. on Thursday on suspicion of aggravated DUI, her third violation in 84 months, police reported.

The woman was pulled over on the Interstate 10 and Elliot Road after making a “wide left turn,” according to a police report.

Further investigation revealed she was driving on a revoked license, according to the report. When asked to perform a breath test, the woman refused, police reported. A warrant was then obtained for a blood test.

She was transported to Tempe City Jail, booked and held to see a judge, police reported.

A 47-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested on suspicion shoplifting around noon on Friday, police reported.

The woman was arrested at Fry’s on Baseline Road. Investigation revealed she exited the store with two packages of ribs and three ears of corn in a shopping basket, police reported.

The total on the food was $36.83, according to a police report.

The woman has been convicted of six shopliftings in the Phoenix area, according to the report.

She was booked to Tempe City Jail.

A man was arrested in Tempe around 2 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of possession of narcotic drugs and probation hold, police reported.

The man was initially stopped for suspected involvement in a nearby fight, according to a police report.

Investigation revealed he had approximately 20 grams of narcotics in his possession, according to the report.

He was transported, booked and released pending charges, police reported.

An 18-year-old Phoenix woman was arrested Friday around 10 a.m. when investigation revealed she had an outstanding search warrant and 2 misdemeanor warrants, police reported.

The woman was recognized on Mill Avenue where police contacted her, according to a police report.

She was transported to Tempe City Jail.

A 24-year-old Tempe man was arrested Tuesday around 4 a.m. on suspicion of second-degree burglary and disorderly conduct, police reported.

The man was suspected of breaking into an apartment on South Hardy Drive and destroying more than $2,000 worth of property, according to a police report.

He was arrested on site and booked to Tempe City Jail.
