Tempe Police reported the following incidents Monday:

  • A 50-year-old Tempe man was arrested early Saturday morning at his residence on East Continental Drive on suspicion of aggravated assault, police reported.

    The man was arrested after an investigation revealed he had pointed a loaded shotgun at his roommate and threatened to shoot him, according to a police report.

    He was arrested and booked into Tempe City Jail on two counts of aggravated assault, police reported.

  • A 20-year-old Tempe man was arrested early Saturday morning on suspicion of urinating on a wall on South Terrace Road, according to a police report.

    Police reported seeing the man urinate on the wall, throw a plastic bag containing marijuana and break a marijuana pipe, then tossed it under a car.

    The man was carrying a beer, and a Breathalyzer test revealed he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.234, police reported.

    Police said the man stated he had consumed alcohol, smoked weed and had to pee, according to a report.

  • An 18-year-old woman was arrested Saturday afternoon on suspicion of theft and possession of dangerous drugs, police said.

    Police arrested the woman at West Sixth Street and South Maple Avenue after an investigation revealed she stole $245 from a Tempe man, according to a police report.

    The man gave the woman a $245 deposit for a room in a house over which she had no authority, police reported.

    The woman was kicked out of the residence on Sept. 14 and took the payment on Saturday, according to the report.

    A search upon arrest revealed the woman had Adderall that was not prescribed to her, police reported.

    She was transported to Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, according to the report.

  • A 26-year-old man was arrested Sunday on South Mill Avenue and West University Drive after he allegedly pointed a pocketknife at another man and tried to stab him, police said.

    The man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault after the victim identified him hiding in a nearby bush, according to a police report.

    The victim said he and the man got into an argument. The man got within one foot of him with a folding pocketknife and reportedly said “Do you want some of this?” police reported.

  • A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary late Sunday night after a foot pursuit by police, police reported.

    The man allegedly entered a fenced apartment complex and broke into the back window of a vehicle, according to a police report.

    The investigation showed the man removed the faceplate from the stereo and removed items from the glove box before leaving the faceplate in the car, police reported.

    After a short foot pursuit, police arrested the man on suspicion of burglary and trespassing in the second degree, according to a report.
