Tempe Police reported the following incidents Sunday:

  • A 34-year-old Phoenix man was arrested early Friday morning on the 8400 block of South Kyrene Road on suspicion of burglary, police reported.

    The man was arrested after investigation revealed he intentionally dropped off two subjects at the above location and then drove in circles on Kyrene Road while the unknown subjects began stealing items in the area, according to a police report.

    After being stopped just south of that location, police found three bolt cutters in the bed of his truck, police reported.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of burglary in the third degree and having burglary tools, according to a report.

  • A 32-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Thursday morning on the 600 block of South Hardy Drive for having two outstanding warrants for his arrest and suspicion of false reporting and possession or drug paraphernalia, police reported.

    After the man was contacted regarding the two outstanding warrants for his arrest, he reportedly gave officers a false name and a false social security number, according to a police report.

    The man then fled from the officer and was tackled, sustaining cuts to his knee and elbow, police reported.

    He was taken to Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital for his injuries. Drug paraphernalia was discovered on him at the hospital, according to a report.

    The man was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of giving false information to law enforcement and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, police reported.

  • A 21-year-old Scottsdale woman was arrested early Thursday morning on the 900 block of West Vaughn Street on suspicion of possession of marijuana and providing alcohol to minors, police reported.

    The woman was contacted while officers were investigating a call regarding suspicious suspects jumping over the fence into the above location, according to a police report.

    She was found in a room containing marijuana and admitted to providing minors with alcohol, police reported.

    The woman was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of marijuana and one count of providing alcohol to minors, according to a report.

  • A 34-year-old Tempe man was arrested late Wednesday night at North McClintock Drive and North Hayden Road on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, police reported.

    The man was contacted at a vehicle stop. He was a passenger in the vehicle, according to a police report.

    During a search of the vehicle a pack of cigarettes was found containing a clear glass pipe with unidentified drug residue and a clear plastic bag containing a clear rock substance, police reported.

    A similar bag was also found in the man’s wallet, according to a report.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of dangerous drugs and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, police reported.

  • A 20-year-old Tempe man was arrested early Tuesday morning at East University Drive and South Evergreen Road on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs, police reported.

    The man was arrested after investigation revealed he was in possession of a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine, according to a police report.

    The man was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of dangerous drugs, police reported.
