How about them Cowboys? Or lack thereof. A promising team with solid talent has become a 2-2 team going into the fifth week of the regular season.

There have been countless errors made — the kind that are unacceptable at the professional level. So what exactly went wrong? Some speculate it’s the team’s lack of communication. Others blame head coach Wade Phillips. Then there is always the Terrell Owens excuse.

I believe it’s a combination of all three. When I watch the ’Boys play, I see inconsistency and weak plays being called. They just don’t seem to connect.

DallasCowboys.com staff writer Nick Eatman referred to the team’s start as “watching a bad movie, over and over again.”

Their recent 17-10 loss to the Denver Broncos was embarrassing. While the defense looked solid, which is usually not the case, the offense looked horrible.

They had a bunch of chances to come back, but in the end the team who played harder won.
