The MLB playoffs have a soft spot in my heart.

In my opinion, there is no greater playoff system than what the MLB has in place.

Eight teams make the postseason and the fight to get in is baseball at its best.

The tiebreaking game for the AL Central crown was one of the best games I have seen in my lifetime of being a diehard baseball fan. It truly was American sports at its best.

People ask me all the time — since my team isn’t in the playoffs this year, who do I want to win?

My answer to that question is simple: I want to see good baseball.

While I have my loyalties to a baseball team, I’m also an ambassador to the game itself. Therefore, exciting, well-played games are what I want to see this October.

If the matchups that we have in the first round aren’t enough, just look at the potential storylines down the road.

How about Boston and New York again for a World Series trip, or what about an old school rivalry of the Dodgers taking on the Yankees in the World Series?

So sit back and enjoy baseball at its finest, and remember there is only one October, uh, and a little bit of November.
