ASU Police reported the following incident Tuesday:

  • On the morning of Oct. 16 on Alpha Drive on the Tempe campus two unknown men committed aggravated assault, police reported.

    One of the men threatened to shoot two victims in the back of the head while reaching into the back waistband of his pants simulating he had a gun, according to a police report.

    The suspects fled the scene on bicycles, police reported.

Tempe Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

A 20-year-old Tempe woman was arrested Sunday morning at South Rural Road and South Terrace Road on suspicion of aggravated assault, police reported.

She was contacted in reference to a collision between her vehicle and a bicycle, according to a police report.

Investigation revealed she was driving under the influence of alcohol, police reported.

The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital because he sustained serious physical injuries, according to a report.

The woman was booked on charges of one count of aggravated assault, police reported.

A 21-year-old Mesa man and a 19-year-old Mesa man were arrested late Saturday night at West Fifth Street and South Mill Avenue on suspicion of possession of narcotic and dangerous drugs, police reported.

The men were contacted at a vehicle stop and the 21-year-old was seen with a 12-ounce can of beer between his legs, according to a police report.

A search of the 21-year-old revealed cocaine located inside his inhaler, police reported.

The 19-year-old was in the back seat were officers found four Alprazolam pills, a dangerous drug, according to a report.

The 21-year-old man was transported to Tempe City Jail and booked on charges of one count of open alcohol in the vehicle and one count of possession of narcotic drugs, police reported.

A 27-year-old Tucson woman was arrested early Saturday morning on the 900 block of East Playa Del Norte Drive on suspicion of possession of marijuana, police reported.

Investigation revealed she was in possession of two plastic bags containing a substance believed to be marijuana and a marijuana cigarette, according to a report.

The bags were located in plain view inside the vehicle and the marijuana cigarette was found on the hood of her car while she was attempting the change a tire, police reported.

She admitted to ownership of the marijuana cigarette, according to a report.

The woman was transported to Tempe City Jail and booked on charges of one count of possession of marijuana, police reported.

A 22-year-old Gilbert man was arrested early Saturday morning on the 700 block of South Roosevelt Street on suspicion of failing to obey police, police reported.

After being stopped in his vehicle at West Fourth Street and South Mill Avenue, the man fled the scene through an alley, according to a police report.

The man drove across the sidewalk and through a sign, police reported.

He was located about two miles away where he had changed seats with the passenger of the vehicle, according to a report.

The man was transported to Tempe City Jail and booked on charges of one count of failure to obey and one count of aggravated DUI, police reported.
