ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • An 18-year-old man was arrested Monday night on the 300 block of East Orange Mall on suspicion of trespassing, police reported.

    The man was contacted while loitering in the basement lounge of the Memorial Union, according to a police report.

    He had been previously warned of loitering and trespassing on the ASU campus, police reported.

    The man also had a misdemeanor Tempe Police Department warrant and was transferred to the Tempe Police department, according to a report.

  • A 16-year-old boy was arrested Sunday night on the 5600 block of South Sagewood Road in Mesa on suspicion of disorderly conduct and domestic violence, police reported.

    The boy was shouting at his stepfather and had to be physically restrained while at the above address, according to a police report.

    He ran away from home and was entered into the National Crime Information Center as a runaway juvenile, police reported.

Tempe Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • A 49-year-old Tempe man was arrested Sunday night on the 2100 block of West University Drive on suspicion of driving under the influence, police reported.

    Investigation revealed the man was driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was driving on a suspended license, according to a police report.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of aggravated DUI and one count of DUI to the slightest degree, police reported.

  • A 32-year-old Washington man was arrested late Friday night on the 400 block of South Mill Avenue on suspicion of drinking in public, police reported.

    The man was observed consuming a 12-ounce bottle of Bud Light at the above location, according to a police report.

    The bottle was approximately four ounces full, cool to the touch, and the police poured it out, police reported.

    Upon a search police found a bag of marijuana in his pants pocket, according to a report.

    The man said the marijuana was not his and that he did not know it was in his pants, police reported.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of public consumption of alcohol and one count of possession of marijuana, according to a report.

  • A 27-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Friday night at West Broadway Road and South 52nd Street on suspicion of possession of a narcotic drug, police reported.

    He was stopped in his vehicle for not having license plate lights, according to a police report.

    It was discovered that he had a valid Phoenix warrant and after a search the man discarded crack cocaine rocks onto the street, police reported.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of narcotic drugs, according to a report.

  • A 27-year-old Tempe man was arrested Thursday night on the 30 block of West Carter Drive on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs, police reported.

    The man was contacted during a vehicle stop in reference to reckless driving, according to a police report.

    Upon contact, a clear plastic bag of crystal methamphetamine fell from his waistband, police reported.

    A clear pipe was found in the rocks near his car where the man said he had thrown it, according to a report.

    He also had an outstanding Mesa city warrant, police reported.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of dangerous drugs and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a report.
