ASU Police reported the following incidents Monday:

  • An 18-year-old ASU student was arrested early Saturday morning on the 600 block of South Alpha Drive on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol, police reported.

    After stopping the student, officers opened the trunk of his car to find two 30-packs of beer, according to the report.

    The student was issued a criminal citation and released, police reported.

    A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespassing early Sunday morning at the Vista Del Sol apartment complex, on the 700 block of East Apache Boulevard, police reported.

    The man, who police say is not an ASU student or Vista Del Sol resident, climbed over the fence to get into the complex, according to the report.

    The man was transported to the ASU police station for holding before being cited and released, according to the report.

  • Tempe police reported the following incidents Monday:

  • A 24-year-old Goodyear woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespassing, assault and criminal damage early Saturday morning at an apartment complex on the 900 block of South Lola Lane, according to a police report.

    The woman sneaked into the victim’s apartment, punched him in the neck, flipped over a table and began throwing magazines, police reported.

    While being arrested, the woman then kicked the Plexiglas divider in a police car, breaking it, according to the report.

    The woman was booked into Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge.

  • A 22-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault early Sunday morning at a nightclub on the 600 block of South Mill Avenue, police reported.

    The man struck another man at the nightclub in the face with a beer glass, leaving a 3-inch gash in the victim’s forehead and nose, according to the police report.

    The man was transported to Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, according to the report.

    The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, police reported.

  • A 46-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting early Monday morning at Fifth Street and South Mill Avenue, police reported.

    While at a store on the 800 block of South Mill Avenue, the man attempted to hide a box of pantyhose in his shirt when he was confronted by a manager, according to the report.

    The man dropped the box on the ground and ran out of the store, but was later located and arrested by officers, according to the report.

    The man was taken to Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, police reported.
