ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • A 19-year-old man was arrested at midnight Saturday on the 700 block of East Apache Boulevard on suspicion of being under 21 in possession of alcohol, police reported.

    The man was found carrying a bag, which contained a glass bottle of vodka, at the Vista Del Sol complex, according to a police report.

    He was issued a criminal citation for being under 21 in possession of alcohol, police reported.

Tempe Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • A 20-year-old Tempe woman was arrested early Tuesday morning at East Southern Avenue and South River Drive on suspicion of marijuana possession, police reported.

    The woman was contacted in reference to a civil traffic violation, after which she was found to be in possession of the drug, according to a police report.

    She was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count marijuana possession, police reported.

  • A 41-year-old transient man was arrested late Sunday night at West Fifth Street and Mill Avenue on suspicion of disorderly conduct, police reported.

    The man was arrested after he began bothering street vendors by stepping on their displays and swearing loudly, according to a police report.

    Police had warned the man about disorderly conduct 30 minutes earlier, police reported.

    Once he was transported to Tempe City Jail, the man assaulted an officer by kicking the officer in the leg twice, according to the report.

    He is being held on one count of disorderly conduct and one count of aggravated assault of an officer, police reported.

  • A 19-year-old male ASU student was arrested late Friday night on the 900 block of East Apache Boulevard on suspicion of marijuana possession, police reported.

    During a follow-up investigation of the apartment, a bong with the odor of marijuana was found in the man’s living room, according to a police report.

    A grinder and a usable amount of marijuana were also found in the apartment, police reported.

    A search of the man’s belongings at the jail revealed he had a fake Pennsylvania driver’s license, according to the report.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of marijuana possession, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of possession of fake identification, police reported.
